Most visitors of Nice rate the Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art as a must-see not only for the enthusiasts of contemporary trends in art, but also for the mere amateurs. Indeed, the building of the museum is a sight in itself, a very original structure with 4 square towers, rooftop terraces and glass passageways between the sundry sections of the building.

The permanent collections of the museum consist of works by top pop art and new realism artists: Andy Warhol, Sol Lewitt, Niki de Saint Phalle, Alain Jacquet, David Tremlett, Claude Viallat, and Arman. The works of Yves Klein are also displayed here, two of its most prized creations being exhibited on the roof terraces.

The museum is available for organizing sundry cultural and artistic events, given its large auditorium accommodates some 230 seats
