The current headquarters of the Nice City Hall was built in the first half of the 18th century (somewhere in the 1730s). The building was bestowed to this public institution in 1860, but until then it sheltered a hospital, a seminary and it was also used as barracks.

Located in Vieux Nice, it complements the tourist sights one can discover while strolling around on the maize-like narrow streets of the historical district of Nice.
