Throughout the month of May, the locals of Nice gather in the Cimiez Arenas and Gardens each Sunday and enjoy the open-air performances designed to call forth the past history of the city. Food sampling, picnics and music shows are also available, and the family-oriented character of these celebrations is complemented by the kids’ entertainment opportunities.

By attending Les Fetes de Mai, tourists are offered the chance to get to know the locals in their unaffected way of life.
